The recorded signal would be exactly the same. GPS just sends the clock of the GPS satelites and their positions. You then calculate your position from the runtime of the signals ...
Exactly. The OP is mixing things up ... this fusion drive is just a means to convert electric energy to velocity, not a fusion reactor to generate power.
Hell, even my 10 inch tablet has a 2560x1600 resolution and Japan Display displayed a 7 inch panel with that resolution in November 2012 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yGsWT9wfck). Why do we still have 13 inch laptops with 1280x800 or desktop monitors with 23+ inches with only FullHD when a $400 tablet can have this kind of screen?
I think the problem was that the A class had no ESP ... after they noticed that it could fall on its side in extreme slalom, this was one of the first (non-luxury) cars to include ESP from the factory.
I don't think busses, self driving or not, could ever compete with high speed trains. I have yet to see a bus driving 220 mph on a street crowded with other cars, busses and trucks.
And that will be even more true if the US decides that 220 mph is too slow (because it is just as fast as everyone else) and they might want to skip that milestone and go for 350 mph maglev trains ;-)
At prices of 60 cents per GB in SSDs and Apple asking for $100 for 16, 32 or 64 additional GBs? $300 might buy you a 512 GB SSD ... and on an iPad it justs buys you 128 GB instead of 16 ... that is expensive, storage itself isn't that expensive anymore ;-)
The iPhone5 is smaller than the average Android device, right? I have no problem to reach the upper left corner with my thumb on a Nexus 4 ... and yes, the author is probably right with the proposed distribution of "hard to touch" places on a phone screen.
If it is anything like the C300, it would be one reason not to buy the car. One can only speculate what Crysler thought while trying to make a working interface (especially voice). Sometimes it displays way too much information and on other times almost no information at all (3 songs at a time when going through a playlist/album?).
Also the diming feature is mostly manual (with a dial, in hardware), but works fine.
I hope it is nothing like the Chrysler 300 or any other crappy car "OS" we've seen before ;-)
Well ... I live in a country without voting machines and we still manage to count all votes on the same day. There is no need for faulty machines, is there?
No arms in downwash, closer together (when all copter electronic parts are on the topside of the frame) ... plus you might be more likely to hit the ceiling indoors than the floor.
