As a programmer, and not as a company seeking profit by any means, i seek the easiest and most reliable solution for the problem in hand, and Delphi works like a charm for me, and it is very very far from dead, by the time of writing this, on the TOIBE index , Delphi is at the 10th place, Rust and Kotlin are #18 and #19 respectively, oh look, even Ada is ranked #13, so yeah, please stop saying a programming language is dead because it is old or not your favorite or simply because you don't know anything about programming languages except Javascript.

Software is built by humans, for humans, and we should feel that, see that, when we are using it, and even when we are not using it, i mean the resposibility developers should take writing those lines of code, the moral side of things, the long term consequeces of their blind choices, genius evil algorithms, and yes developers and not managers or those people at "the top", because at the end of the day, the developer is the one giving it all to make that peace of software works, i told myself many times before that we have laready reached an era where software is built by machines for humans, long before A.I and vibe coding .

ArcoLinux was always one of my favorite linux distros, i have had a lot of fun using it, i have used it few times going and coming back to it, it had a sweet spot for almost every type of linux(arch) user, every DE you can think of, different installers, tons of customizations, the abilty to build your own ISO packed with your favorite apps and tweaks as far as you like, and i was always admiring Erek, the creator and maintainer of the project, an awesome guy who gave a lot to the linux community in my opinion, that's what set it appart from other linux distros, it was a full project, not just another distro with few tweaks, all i can say is thank you very much Erik, for the awesome journey we have had together.

After years of Javascript frameworks noise, i still don't understant why people build simple things using complex tools, so to build a "sleek" music player, i need to know Rust, then Tauri, then Javascript, then Svelte, then all the tools to put all of that together?hmm sounds very sleek to me.

over the years people have done so much using Ruby and the other so called "dead languages", the new kids on the block will never do in a 20 or 30 years ahead.
