Good points. Thanks for sharing. The main point I glean from this read is: don’t let productivity at work mask other aspects of your life.

There are irreducible dimensions of life where one shouldn’t accumulate debt, otherwise they come bite you when you’re vulnerable or they could make you vulnerable, which will end up affecting your productivity at work to say the least.

I'd be happy to clarify. I should probably make a reference to some of the statements made by Eric Schmidt. In that, it's difficult to predict the impact of AI. But if there's another point you were referring to, feel free to let me know so we can disucss.

Thank you for sharing. Seems like well organized dataset. I like datasets that connect the real world to the digital world

Believe it or not, I educate myself a lot here and to thank you, I want to share a video you might enjoy, seeing perfection in action whether it be the type of nature we’re dealing with here and the types of human relationships we are able to form here in #Brussels

I try to document the vibe of my city for this fall using the hashtag #celebratethelifeofthedeadleaves on YouTube, Twitter, now X, Mastodon, and also even Instagram but the content is not automatically pushed. I’m an artist so I tend to look at the same thing from different perspectives. Anyway, enjoy your Sunday and don’t forget to go out to the nature.

OMG, I was looking for exactly something like this. I’d like to create immersion between Logseq and CLI. This can very useful.

So weird, but it's very funny. Do you have plans to expand on this? Maybe collect sound from other thinkers and have them debate?

Your robot sounds very scary by the way. Perfect for the Halloween-ish season.

Well, mainly because of the installed base. It's simply huge. I mean, it's like one of those things that sound easy but that it is actually much much harder to do to achieve. It's not easy to bring so many people on one platforms based on ideas that in Twitter are at least a minimum nuanced, using hashtags, some of the folksonomy stuff that became popular for a while in the early 2000s, which Elon is well aware of.

Nice and clean. Keep up the good work. One thing I understood in programming languages is their ability to integrate with the rest of the ecosystem. A couple of things I like about your approach is how you allow your users to get a repl without even them having to install any perm files on their machine. That’s brilliant.

These thoughts came to me as part of a small thread on the Logseq community [1] but a variety of follow-up thoughts came to me, which I thought would share with the one community I truly trust in this crazy world of propaganda of all sorts.

I thought I would share them with you, a group of individuals I feel I connect with, and trust, to see how we can adapt to this new world of Elon leading Twitter with its high potential and many risks as well.

A number of things change, now that Elon is running Twitter. First off, that's horrible news for many. I hope Twitter HR (who should be under a lot of pressure right now) are doing a good job, handling the logistics there.

In terms of Twitter product management teams though, I think they can get inspired by serious conversations in the community as to what features they will now put forward and to what degree, will they allow for communities to speak freely, which would be a way to actually also test a different layer of claims for Elon, in the lines, the bird is free. I mean, at some point, how free are we talking? Free as in Freedom or Free as in for as long as it serves my purposes.

Small side note: Mr. Musk also needs to understand to keep his power controlled for he might fall into traps only a few people have survived in history. Nelson Mandela, Cyrus the great, Darius, was it? Absolute power corrupts absolutely has been the rule, except for three so far. You might argue how we can know that to be three. Well, the answer is that when an individual has absolute power, it cannot go unseen. In most cases, it leads to wars and chaos, but it leads to good things when it is controlled like those three individuals built great civilisations, it so happens.

Okay, I added Persia there because efforts of Persians (Sasanian Empire, at the time) in Gundeshapur and the work of the likes of Ibn Sina and Al-Farabi in deciphering Aristotle's work have been instrumental in the chain of events that led to the saving of the partial Great Library of Alexandria and its further development during the Islamic Golden Age.
