Is there a calendar that can show the whole year and mark days with different colors if there are all-day events? For some reason calendar apps don't treat year view as something important which is crazy to me. I like to have an overview when planning vacations and stuff like that.
As an option, to rank items, you can use the amount of money that the item has earned instead of just the number of upvotes. You can even replace upvotes number in the UI as well. This way frequent meme-upvoters will have less sway over more picky users. It'd be easier to register astroturfing accounts and to promote something to the top, though.
That you don't own your identity and history, it can be deleted on a whim of a local instance administrator. Basically that it's not Nostr, but Nostr even less popular than Mastodon.
It's hard not to recall Gabe Newell's "Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem". Steam and Spotify offer a really good service, and a lot of people find it not worth it to pirate stuff.
Intellectual property is not really a property, it's a limited time monopoly preference. If you have a chair as your property, it doesn't magically become public property in N years, it's yours forever. Because it's a real property, unlike IP.
More than that, IP is anti-property in nature, because it restricts you from using your real property, you can't use your printing press to print a book that you like.
I know that there's an argument to be made about authors wanting to eat, but that's a separate issue, it doesn't change the fact that IP is logically inconsistent and the "property" part is misleading.
Eating on the same schedule, keeping the same portions and eating 4 times a day helps me. If I miss my window, I can feel my brain shutting down. Also I can't function on low carbs diet, so there's plenty of carbs in mine, but I try to exclude all things with high GI. I also eat plenty of protein rich products, but I don't think it affects my brain in any way. Works pretty good so far for me.
