given also they port a really old version of prusa im not surprise. i bet 100% octoprint not make it, or new version, because they are scared to update deps for reasons. openbsd port people also no share patches upstream and probably "too hard" to port in current form with many patches.
rust lang shifts the digits right by 1 so minor (second spot) == major in their eyes meaning always breaking and nobody hit 1.0+ because they are scared of not changing thing or misunderstand semver.
absolutely not. openbsd decide to reinvent the wheel for their own bubble let them pay. you say server is openbsd only too in post. maybe not you but other openbsd devs dont give back either (despite project docs and policy) and even change the openbsd docs to no longer say contributor should give back to upstream (this is documented). why should there be trust this will care about others and the money is for this specific development?
tldr prove its not another openbsd NIH project and people outside openbsd care or f off
this dev refuse to consider accessibility as it means ui changes or new option. users with visual impair are unable to use app and dev just locks issue reported for it and ignores users. probably to boost number of dls/markerting.
even if user does a patch dev just closes and does his own thing that dont help. even foss projects kick contribs out for try to help
system76 isnt alone, openbsd devs and packagers regularly also dont share with upstream too. they even got caught so they change their policy on sharing https://marc.info/?t=160764244000001&r=1&w=2
