Antibiotics are pretty much a free lunch but they exist. Completely stops deadly disease without causing any long term damage. They exist it's just rare

I'm curious what kind of effect alcohol has on IQ. Alcohol is very well established to be pretty bad for brain health even if you don't always feel it.

Very cool that you got in just through your interests. It's anyways cool to see stories where that works out! Good to know it's possible to get that kind of job

How do get to do that? As in what did you study to get the prerequisite knowledge, and how did you find this particular job? When I see interesting jobs I'm anyways curious what path lead there

In that case America's founding would be rooted in terrorism. Against the British monarchy, of course.

Very cool. I have a friend with cerebral palsy and he has very little movement in his hands. I'd love to connect him with these kinds of devices but he has an intellectual disability that makes it especially tough. I wish there was an easy affordable way to get someone who can give advice to a guy like him. He's learned to use an iPhone because SIRI does a lot of things for him, but computers are difficult for him. Which is very limiting

Why would that be the only way to get porn that they don't crack down on?

This is a cool idea, I like it.

Not sure why this was down voted but there's truth to this.

I quit an SNRI antidepressant twelve years ago and for ten years I had horrible migraines, inability to form sentences, constant anxiety, low motivation, and other symptoms. Doctors just diagnosed it as depression and me having problems.

I knew something was wrong and I suspected it had to do with withdrawal from my old antidepressant. I read online and found others saying something similar. Gemini was able to help me confirm with and provide resources from specialists about this because the average psychiatrist knows nothing about this.

Finally I had a name for my issue-- protracted SNRI withdrawal syndrome. Trying to get off the medication too quick put me into some kind of continuous withdrawal. After confirming this I got back on the old medication and slowly reduced the dose this time.. I feel better than I have in 10 years.

Doctors still don't understand it and sometimes when I mention it to one(I have a few in my family)they just say "that's not supposed to happen". Never put your health solely in another person's hands. Utilize every resource available to you, even the most educated doctor in the world cannot know all there is to know about their field

I don't see anyone else's messages. Don't know if they turned them off at this point. This is why we can't have nice things

Had the same issue. With reta I have more energy than normal and workout even more than usual. I get great workouts despite eating around 1400 calories a day. I don't wanna act like it's without flaws but I gotta say it does it's job very well

Probably has more to do with how they regard hallucinations. In some cultures they're regarded as possibly mystical and a good thing, in other cultures they're regarded as strictly a sign of a malfunctioning brain which is of course bad. Even a corpse can create different feelings based on context and beliefs-- ie a corpse at a funeral is a somber memorial, a corpse lying in the street is sad and worrying.

The United States leadership is full of religious fanatics saying this war is for Christ, that God stands with their army, those that bless israel will be blessed, etc in the context of political speeches. If the Iranian regime has killed 100 Americans in 47 years, it's shocking how small that is compared to the 1000+ reported civilian deaths that the USA caused by attacking civilian infrastructure and even schools and hospitals. The abusive relationship here is the one American people have with the political class that benefits from these forever wars.

VW was established by the nazis and was so excited at the conflict in Gaza they converted a factory into a missile factory recently to help the side that killed more journalists than in any other recorded conflict.

I question how accurately using a survey alone really answers this question. Some people would never admit(or even think) they're against free speech--at least until they see speech they deem too dangerous to be allowed. We have seen this on college campuses lately. We've seen this during the 'War on Terror'. It's the same result even if their initial beliefs are different.

Sounds more like he's saying killing civilians naturally makes people mad at you. We shouldn't avoid talking about this because of this fear of terrorism. In fact some would say when army kils someones family, they will look at us as the terrorists and demand it not be accepted like you

The reason they were banned is because they never went through complete safety testing. There are still unknowns. For example BPC-157 is used for recovery from injury and has good reviews.. but there are also a small number of people who say after taking it they become depressed and emotionally numb for months. Another odd symptom some people report is insensitivity to stimulants.

Some reported they don't even feel powerful stimulants like Adderall anymore. And if you're reliant on a stimulant for adhd treatment, you're kind of screwed. No one can tell you why it happens and you basically have to wait weeks to months for the effects to wear off.

If you don't even know all the risks how can you make an informed decision? It's all very experimental and while there are success stories there are also much less talked about horror stories.

I didn't read that as saying anything about your character; it's an understandable way to react. It is an indictment of the system that people have to feel that way when it really shouldn't have to feel that way.

The incentive isn't to make a better product, it's to make a more profitable product. Sometimes that leads to improvements in quality but much of the time it's the opposite
