well some folks probably do, which is why they seem "anti-AI" to you (I certainly do care about my skills atrophying, and it's the reason I don't use "AI")

there is a difference between being excited about technology and falling into marketing traps
I agree with OP it's the other way around, while some will gradually lose basic skills by relying more and more on AI for productivity sake and laziness, those "people who don't use AI" value will go up by choosing to simply keep "learning the hard way"
making a copy is not stealing, but presenting / selling someone else's work as your own is. especially when it's done on that scale by big corps and in an automated way
no one in their right mind is going to argue with that, not sure what your point is
