Congressional representatives should 100% be held bare minimum to the standard that bank employees are if not more.

As per raises, they haven't received one since 2009 and I think it'd definitely make sense to peg that to inflation.

In general though, they're securing a pension via this job which even though it's not their full salary it will set them up for retirement better than the average investing would.

I think for all disillusioned readers it's absolutely crucial to read this alongside the footnotes. But I've also seen people similarly disillusioned by books as recent as Catch-22.

How is a company supposed to determine what 'good' prices are though? Should they just be covering their costs? Should they just be covering their costs + x%? Sure they could base it off what the rest of the market is doing but where is the market establishing their prices?

I don't disagree that price gouging occurs in many markets - and I agree that an international GDPR would be beneficial to people - but good pricing also doesn't just occur naturally it's a product of experimentation.

I'm under the assumption (and hoping) this is just another gag project that was made in light of DeFi crypto projects getting funded without anything backing them.

They always seem to popup whenever crypto becomes sexy again. This one is just a little bit more deadpan than others.
