Alas without the 3-finger drag gesture on the Surfacebook, it's a non-starter for me. It's horrifying to think that even though the hardware supports it, that gesture is patented and cannot be used.
I am sorry, does anyone know how to navigate this comment page??? I can't even find the 2nd comment. The first comment has tons of replies and I have scrolled 30 pages and cant even find the 2nd comment.
Could the transition start by having a 30 hour work week, for example? If I work 40+ hours and a certain percentage of my income goes towards sustaining the unemployed, I would far rather work fewer hours and give that work to an unemployed person.
The comment page is basically broken without this feature. I rarely get to the even the 3rd comment when the first comment has many responses. Please allow collapsable comment trees.
This is a laughably stupid idea. Trying to stay ahead of geometric growth is always a losing battle. Instead of turning humans to Smurfs, why don't we try to control the birth-rate instead.
A laptop that doesn't have great trackpad interface is a non-starter. Really looking forward to trying out the Microsoft laptop in person. But still using my 2010 macbook pro and smooth-as-glass scrolling is a minimum bar.
