Many terminals lack ligatures. Once I started using a monospace font with ligatures I could never go back.

These are evdev based tools, not wayland tools.

Personally the community around wayland seems to have some toxicity in it. That is the only thing I really took from the original post.

I'm already on 28.x/native comp. Is this branch really tested and working well enough without any performance regressions? I read the LWN article about this branch and it did not increase my confidence.

When I'm at my framebuffer terminal, I can either type 'startx' or 'sway'. If I go from typing 'startx' to typing 'sway' does that count as "switching to Wayland"?
