One of my tried and true learning habits that help tremendously is reading/watching the content VERY QUICKLY -- and not for full comprehension. I watch all educational videos at 2x speed as well as audio books first. With prose I speed through large chunks of pages at a time. Then going through it again at a normal pace. Helps a ton for retention and also boosts confidence on completely unknown subjects.
But grossly under-producing infuriates people who won't be able to purchase the product for months due to a silly marketing ploy. I still cannot buy the Nintendo classic in-store, and it came out 4th quarter 2016.

It seems to me, in many cases, hate for Malcolm X is usually centered around his view of militancy as a viable option and his connection to the Nation of Islam.
America was established through violent militancy, so I don't understand the first point. Many great conflicts have proven that as a viable solution.
The second point makes many people uncomfortable because of the NOI's vocal opinions of the white race as a whole. While the "white devil" philosophy can be supported with case studies of deplorable acts against blacks, such as slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, lynchings, to name a few, it was and is a gross exaggeration that is becoming less and less supportable. Malcolm X, later in life, experienced a different side of whites and race, that later led him to shun those negative beliefs.
I admire him for his zest for learning, and his courage to have a militant position in a time of great injustice. I was born in a much better America, and have still faced racism that made me feel worthless, defenseless, and angry -- but I still hesitate to even call out racism for fear of negative reprisal.
While I don't think you or any contemporary "non-racist" white person is responsible for those acts, denial of the past and its lingering effects, and hatred for those who fought to end it doesn't help. Without the fear of violent revolution, I question if we would have progressed as far as we have.
If a person is over 18 in the US they are an adult, and to base this on what actions they choose to take is the wrong metric. For instance, My wife and I work a lot and choose not to handle the major cleaning tasks, such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and the like ourselves. We outsource it to a cleaning company who does a weekly pass on these things. The house stays in pretty good shape in between, and the only time I have to clean much is if the kids are being rambunctious.
True, if I couldn't afford it I would have to do more myself or burden my wife to do it, but it doesn't make me less of an adult.
Except for the "colored people" comment I wholly agree with your take. As a black guy, there is little real understanding of the lack of barriers to becoming a programmer. This alone holds a lot of minorities back, without adding the myriad of other non tech related barriers. Stories such as this one seeks to help, but dont unfortunatly.

Good UX and UI designers require a period of acclimation to a certain industry. Be prepared to educate them so that they can best optimize for your product domain. It's unlikely that you will find many within specific niches, so you will definitely go through a period of education.
No, not at all. If you can identify the group doing the stealing it is fine to take appropriate countermeasures. If not, to chastise people based on an uninformed bias or negative feeling toward a certain group is wrong.
