Looks like you have to cheat your way to get to be wealthiest person on the planet and make trips on a rocket. Sucks.
This was well-known already though the scale was not always obvious.
My thumb rule; use the "Amazon Platform" to buy third-party items at discount and where you need the safety net of returns/exchange. Never buy Amazon branded i.e. "Solimo" (are there Others?) items even though they are cheap.

Wow that is really messed up. Are there no legal protections for this?
They get it done with third-parties for everything from manufacturing to managing subsets of delivery fleets to avoid exposure.
