Barack Obama wrote one line of Javascript code once. It made the world news.

It's easy to accuse North Korea. They can't practically respond to the accusations because they have no outlet anyone reads, and if anyone did then nobody would care anyway.

It's not just Google, all the American companies are doing it.

I've noticed for years how my privacy settings on Android, as well as macOs and Windows 10, occasionally revert to the most privacy-invading choice.

I keep wondering when one of these machines will finally be able to do some tangible, practical work, like taking some input and producing correct output, and do it faster than a traditional computer by atleast one order of magnitude.

Right now it's just quantum-schmantum.

I believe this racket has only been growing and growing every decade since. It needs to be brought up more often, and people and organisations with large audiences must dare to speak openly about it.

Despite the hype, iPhone security no match for NSA court-and-gag orders.

The continuing denial that U.S. intelligence agencies are all up in Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc. is surprising.

It's always easier to shift blame onto someone else, especially on other cyber terrorists.

I don't think the salaries are a bad joke, but if you bring that point up, also compare how worker rights etc. are a bad joke in the U.S.

Whatever salary you get here, you will get a much more secure life than the equivalent (inflated) salary in the U.S. gives you.

I wonder if it's an automated fuck-up or real malice here, because "it's OUR data" etc.

In the latter case, I fully expect them to remove OpenBoard and the developer's account next.
