We are building a note-taking app with OCR to save quotes from paper books, organize them with tags and write down summary of each book.
There are several other apps on the market but they focus only on OCR with no notes features - I believe that usually for each book a user makes a file with notes/ideas, not only quotes.
The plan is to integrate with audiobooks companies (to transcribe audiobooks quotes) and to integrate with ebooks.
It's free to use (paid is text formatting and tags).
I feel that my work relationship is like partnership: I provide some value for some cash.
If the company wants to set 'work from office' culture and my WFH attitude will be hard for them, my position will have 'negative effect on the team'. I think it's always better to understand all the effects beforehand to better negotiate.
In the end of the day it's all about the value your team provides in the long term. If you sells that it'll be only increased, so the negotiations will be easier.
That's a great idea!
I have thought about it and planned to build some kind of betting game: everyone pays $10 on day 0 (let's say 1k users) and camera proves that you are doing exercises. On day 30 $10k ($10*1k) is divided between everyone who is still active. Motivation tool.
I need to send you my review back somehow so I need email. All other fields are not required now
