+1 … anyone looking for science, checkout this sample report from a testing service for mental health doctors. It explains the symptoms and the likely deficiencies (like Magnesium) which likely lead to them.
Importantly the last few pages have example treatment for common conditions. You should still seek medical support though, with great power comes great responsibility. Don’t trust your powerful cloud data center to a junior sysadmin.

The HN comment (I wish I had saved it!) surprised me because I'e searched online as to whether this was even a real problem and what solutions existed, but most of the posts I came across were vague and unhelpful.

If you don't mind me asking, which one are you taking?
I take 500mg of magnesium and 100mg of B2 every morning.
There are many types of Magnesium. Such as
Magnesium L Threonate, Magnesium Chloride, etc. Which one specifically do you take?
I find the BioCeuticals brand to be particularly effective, though I mainly take it for cramps.
It seems that being chellated it has a very rapid uptake compared to almost any other formulation I have tried - eg I have had a calf cramp that has left me barely able to walk and drinking this form released it to normal in 30 minutes.

Morning anxiety is something I've dealt with on and off for a while and I decided to give this a shot.
In short: it's been fantastic.
Just wanted to thank the community. I'm now about 3x as productive in the mornings as I was a few months ago.
