Has anybody used this a lot? I'm curious if it's something you can grow accustomed to, and if so, whether switching back to a normal editor will induce a strange sensation of the normal editor spinning in some way (similar to the Tetris effect.)

(I tried using it myself the last time it was posted, but it made me nauseous.)

I remember always being scared when that menu popped up, because the only times I ever saw it were when something was broken.

I'm sure there were good reasons to want to get to it, but I was too young to know any.

Compiz cube can already do this with your entire desktop circa 2006. I remember being quite delighted with it when I first installed Ubuntu but it was never very practical. I still miss wobbly windows though

Hi, I have a question about Vim and Bash.

If I type ":w[Enter]" and then quickly thereafter CTRL-Z, will my file be completely saved before Vim is suspended? Or can the suspend operation happen in the middle of the saving operation?

The latter, if you're unlucky. You may be interested to know that :suspend is a command.
