The social contract of working hard and being able to own a home or start a family has been broken. This is especially true in Canada, where the government seems to be doing everything in its power to erase the middle class.
I’m highly concerned that any announcement of investment in technology by Canada’s Federal Liberal government will actually go to well deserving companies. There’s been too many scandals and mismanagement of funds with no oversight into how the money is used. The latest one being the ArriveCan scandal (spending $60 million on an app hosting a webform with no track of where the money went to).
