It's good to see a news source calling the FBI's statements what they are: lies.

Nobody serious about security took those statements as true anyway, but I think the general public needs unambiguous reporting from reputable sources on what's going on.

The FBI is illegally spying on innocent American citizens and lying to congress about it.

Could you please stop posting unsubstantive comments to Hacker News? We ban accounts that do that repeatedly, especially when it looks like someone has been creating multiple accounts to do that with.
