Apart from the naturally contentious dialogue that happens on Twitter, the ethical ramifications of designing this study aren’t clear to me. Seems like as more data becomes available, recommendations will change.
Why would there be a treatment that people are pretending doesn't work? What is this person's contention?
Steve Kirsch is a tech entrepreneur who has put $1 million into early covid treatments (https://www.treatearly.org/). He's found fluvoxamine and other treatments work well, but but the NIH/WHO don't support it (these drugs are off-patent)
