Requiring users to type a password is a strong incentive to choose one that is easy to type.
Wouldn't copy-pasting be a better option considering that when you type a password it could be key-logged?
When you copy-paste, you first 'copy' and the password is in the global clipboard.
Some other app may be able to read the clipboard and get your password.
So the solution is to have them redo it after it was already on the global clipboard? Seems nonsensical
I've been semi trying to keep my work and personal computing separate
