I think too much time is spent defending the decision unnecessarily. It’s a good switch.
I feel like there must be a nonzero number of people who went to Clubhouse.io looking for the social media app, then thought “wrong site! But hmm, my team could use a better project management tool…”
Perhaps a smart idea would be to ride the wave of extra traffic and leads, then change after Clubhouse the social app tanks in 6 months (if that happens). Even if Clubhouse tanks in the next 6 months, people will still be talking about it in the past tense for ages, so clearly they had to change at some point. But hey, they know their numbers better than I do, and I imagine they considered this carefully.
