I found this about charging losses 'including charging wall-to-vehicle losses' while looking for a mention of transmission line losses. I was unable to find any consideration of transmission line losses, so it appears the study pretends every EV charges up at the power factory.
Another great reason to go electric. Tires are another big source of air pollution, I wonder is anyone is working on that problem
