As an engineer the PCL seemed like foreign territory as it was in the other side of campus. Thus it was a nice place to go and think, especially in the map room, it was a magic place.
I spent many hours studying in the map room of the PCL in the basement. Nice to see that they’re all digitized
They aren't. It says right on the page that only 20% are actually online.
Additionally the site is now archived and doesn't get any further updates.
A shame really that an university department needs/needed to rely on external funding to digitize the maps it already has and apparently they didn't get enough money and now stopped the effort
Or maybe they didn't stop the effort and only this page is not the "go-to" place anymore. Bit unclear to me

Could someone describe what this collection is? Is it a museum?
The PCL is the primary library on the UT Austin campus. This is all of the maps in their collection.
More like: This is 20% of the maps in their collection
