But then at a broader social level you end up with sportX or "newspaperY" calling the shots for those who seek to be led rather than those who seek to enquire.
And no matter your political persuasion we can see the numbers on this don't support well a purely democratic system...
People that fare better are often less religious too. Also secular != not religious.
