I discovered so much more fulfillment in life when I hired cleaners and cut back on cooking such that most meals were 5 minutes of prep then let cook until a timer goes off. The 60-90 minutes I used to spend cooking each day have been replaced with arts & crafts which has helped me develop tangible skills that I'm rather proud of. In about 18 months, I went from making stuff that was obviously hand made, to people coming over and asking where I got something that I made.

Cooking is an art and craft. One of the best.

Exactly, there is saying that money cannot buy you happiness. But they really can, at least to the point where you can get rid of necessary routines.
I guess up to the point where you can afford to use uber always, so you can spend time in traffic doing something else than being attentive to traffic.
If you care about value, why do you wear ironed clothes?
Can't tell if satire.
Nope, people need to measure things they do in opportunity costs. I pay my housemate to clean common spaces instead of me, when its my turn. As long as I use that time to work on personal project/ leetcode (anything but watching netflix), I am investing in more valuable skill.
And lets be honest, there is very limited # of hours you have outside your work, so you should invest a lot in them.

Most people's personal product / leetcode isn't so valuable.

> eating ready meals,
I've been trying to find this for year. What are some of the good choices here?

I might argue that all those small things are procrastination in disguise.
Thats why I "invest into my learning" by eating ready meals, having roomba for quite a small room, paying dry cleaners instead of ironing shirts myself, however ridiculously that sounds to others.
