Ask HN: How do people with Android phone do airdrop stuff?
Airdrop is so practical. I use it for exchanging links, photos, pdfs, and other files between my phone and my laptop (and between friends’ phones, etc.). I’m looking to move to android phones, because I need a fold phone, but I’m a bit worried that not having airdrop will complicate my life a lot. How do people who don’t have iPhones handle these tasks?

Email drafts are my extremely unsophisticated answer.
But that can’t hold files of more than X mb no?
True, but for me that is such a vanishingly rare problem that I use Google drive or a USB cord.
I use Termux and ssh to copy between my own devices.
Samsung has Nearby Share, otherwise I just use an SMB share to my desktop.
But that’s from samsung device to samsung device innit?
I send myself emails, it's never really been much of an issue
