You would likely need a real ground antenna, so already with starlink

yes you can, Starlink Marine and RV are the beginning, planes are next (contracts in place) and someone already got in trouble for bolting one to their car hood (because of visual obstruction)

Not nitpicking but that's still not a mobile phone. Again, imaging living your life now saying, "I'll ring you later, when I get home."
Like Zoom? 5G is more than enough for that.
Such service won't just be a lifeline for backcountry emergencies. It will change where people can live (i.e., remote work).
While that's been the promise for too long, 5G + Musk + others feels like it will be different this time.
