Ask HN: What‘s the most basic, objective news site/aggregator?

Someone on HN recently pointed to News as Facts (global aggregator) and it's pretty solid IMO:
https://newsasfacts.com/
There are some fairly quality regional aggregators, for California for example:
https://www.rtumble.com/

I subscribe to Financial Times for general news, and I read it in an RSS reader (https://sumi.news) which also aggregates updates from other sites I'm interested in (like HN).
Perhaps not specifically what you're looking for, but I've always found Wikipedia's current events portal to be a good source for info on major events.

Have been using Daily Rotation for years which allows choices of sites to be regularly presented, no comments. https://www.dailyrotation.com/
spidr.today [0] identifies matching stories from multiple news sources and shows the headlines side-by-side. Pretty good for getting different views at a glance.

Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg (the wire service, not the website).
Is Reuters the place to ho? I would like a HN style news site, sans the comments. Just so I know major developments.
