I suppose it is a testament to the quality of your software if people break the law just to use it
It's also super frustrating as the copyright holder. IIRC the Software Freedom Conservancy is still fighting against Vizio's GPL violations in court. I have no idea if the case will ultimately go anywhere, and hiring laywers is expensive.
Likewise, for this case of copyright infringement, I am anything but optimistic at the sheer amount of legal expenses and time needed to address this.

Not really when you're talking about a serial rapist and abductor. Dude is grade A garbage.
Who openly admits to being a pedophile.
That is horrifying. I don’t understand him and thought he was just some YouTube bro. Never saw his show. Can you link me to details?
He went out of his way to sleep with a 15-16(depends on source) Romanian girl when he was 40ish.
It's widely reported and that is enough information to find the information on a source you consider trustworthy.

I looked to it a little bit more, and was so baffled and horrified by the man I decided to stop. I did hear him insult pedophiles but that’s it
Why was this flagged? Genuinely interested, since I can't spot the reason.
There was a comment (2022) that was added to the title with a thanks and approximately 1minute later it went from rank 1 to rank 45.
Not suggesting anything, just a recollection of what occurred.

Me neither.
Funnily enough, my question got a downvote. Maybe @dang could help here?
I never understood why Andrew Tate became a thing. Lets say all the things he's been accused of are false, and its just him giving his opinion - I still have no idea why anyone is interested. Did he just figure out how to market being a pig on the internet? I don't get it. There have been a million before him and I'm not sure why he's special. He's not even funny.
Disclaimer: I haven't actually watched his videos, I only read his Wikipedia page and heard people discussing him.
I think young guys and boys are just so sick of the monoculture pushed on them by both traditional media and social media, that demonizes standard masculinity (think of that infamous Gilette ad), that some of them ended up embracing a caricature/shock jockey. Because he pisses off the modern day equivalent of evangelists, he's edgy and transgressive. Also he says he admits he's playing up/being comedic, which makes people OK with his more exaggerated quotes.
It helps that he looks the part too, being a former UFC fighter. Looks matter a lot. No one would know his name if he looked like your typical software developer.

He’s a thing because parts of the culture are pushing the concept of inherited sin. You are born male, therefor bad. People who don’t like being demonized broadly therefor are likely to listen to him.
Try it with anything. Tell black people they are worthless and watch as someone like Malcom X, who tells them to stick it to the white man rises in popularity.
Also, as a former kickboxer, he has cred. Similarly, Joe Rogan has some cred for having competed, which opened the door to his MMA commentary career, which gave him more cred.

They pay in crypto! Would be a shame if revolt was updating to poke around for crypto assets to pay for itself.
