Sounds like there are no negative aspects at all from the developers view and flatkill (updated to 2020) never was a thing? rly? o_O
Or Flatkill complains about Flatpak, and ignores all other packaging solutions.
You can only provide the mechanisms, you can't force people to use them.
You only have to point to a bug being pushed by a distro for their entire argument to fall apart.
