At least in some android phones the term factory reset is misleading. If you "only" factory reset, you will need to have access to the original Google account to use the phone afterwards. If you want to sell your phone you need to first disconnect it from your account and then factory reset it.
This is done to prevent selling of stolen phones but due to the bad naming it can be a hassle for legitimate sellers. The website seems not to mention this. At least in the phones I checked.

I think it's a great concept and can be a valuable resource, but I really despise the "spammy" look of the website itself. The relevant content is jammed between boxes and lists of "popular devices", "latest videos" and completely unrelated other articles ("How to make money using ChatGPT?").
And all of that with ad blocker (uBlock) activated!
I much prefer basic wikis with good search/categories and financing via donations, but maybe that's not what's ranking high on Google or what the average user wants.

While this is a very good idea for a website, I'm finding that it isn't entirely perfect. For the Kindle at least, it leaves out alternative methods (magic password) that, as I have experienced, can be absolutely crucial in an emergency.
Could be handy, a while ago I was trying to reset an old phone with a broken screen by navigating the recovery blind. In the end I got it done via ADB though.
This website seems like generated spam - why is it even being shown here?
