What is interesting is that the Church never changed or amended its definition of a miracle. Miracles are still medical problems. But today it's hard for me to define something like a pancreas problem as a miracle that can potentially be treated by modern medical profession.
This misses the point entirely. A miracle is something that was not treatable by a modern medical professional, and then was. The miracle (or recovery) then would be reviewed by an independent group and deemed sufficiently inexplicable.
