Why did you make a sock puppet account to complain about the stories on HN? Why not just read the FAQ?

Why not submit some interesting stories/links instead of complaining about how much the current ones suck?
Is there a way to browse previous high scoring stories? I tried submitting two only to find they were done months ago.

http://top.searchyc.com/ has the top {stories, comments, a few other interesting things} of all time. As well as a way to search stories/comments (as the domain name says).
