I said I wanted a warm/tropical climate and it recommended Australia, Belgium, Canada and Denmark. Of those only Australia fits. But I also specified universal public healthcare and I don't think Australia has that. I'm surprised it didn't mention Spain which has everything I want.
But it asks a lot of stuff of course. It's hard to match everything.

Australia does have it.
Thank you for your feedback!
I agree that Indonesia is not particularly strong on civil liberties, and this is reflected in our database as well. However, if you have other preferences that align well with Indonesia, the algorithm may still recommend it. If you scroll down, you can see the specific categories that were matched with the different countries. I will work on making the results page clearer.
You say civil liberties, but it sounds like "religious exceptionalism" is more of what you are looking for?
Civil liberties are about protecting the individual. If they flag certain behaviors as harmful to women, that sounds exactly like what they should be doing if they are trying to be strong in civil liberties. If you want to rigidly follow religious law over individual protections, there are plenty of places in the world to find exactly that.

Is this spam? The information here seems to be extremely basic and in some cases wrong. This looks like nothing more than a affiliate marketing frontend to a jobs board (same owner/agency?).
I don't even get the sense the questions/answers have been written by a human? I have no idea how you could land on the three available options for the cultural environment question.
Which questions do you mean? They were definitely written by a human (me). However, as I am a non-native English speaker, they might not be clear enough.
I could have been more constructive her in fairness! It's not so much the language as the presentation of the options in that specific question - they're kind of presented as a scale but the middle options deals with a different variable to the outer ones - western vs non-western and traditional vs modern. It might be worth breaking these kinds of questions into Likert scaled for more tightly defined variables.
Could you please provide me with some examples of incorrect cases? I tried hard to collect accurate data, but it is not easy to do due to the subjectivity of personal preferences.
Looking through the OP's submissions they're probably a bot and can be safely ignored.
It's funny how it asked so many questions (I didn't skip any), and it suggested Argentina, and listed jobs as a kindergarten teacher and "Customer Service & Product Specialist - Client: Home Appliance". I did say that I was interested in a vibrant tech/startup scene but I guess I had to turn up the importance of that to carry any weight.
Creator is here: Please let me know if you have any questions. And thanks for the submitter! It was definitely not me.
Fun project! A few comments:
* I tried to edit language preference after taking the quiz, but it only let me change the strength of my preference, not the preference itself. (There was also a single checkmark with no label for some reason.)
* I was a bit surprised that "Not Important - Skip This Question" immediately went to the next page. I think it should work the same as "Somewhat Important" and "Very Important" and wait for the user to click "Next".
* It should be possible to check any country against your quiz results, not just the top 4.
* If possible, secondary language availability should be more granular. For example, in the Netherlands, around 90% of the population can speak English. This should be weighed higher than Belgium, which has around a 60% English speaking population.

It does fit most of my other answers a reasonably well but the civil liberties are very lacking. Also the current people in political power are in the process of reverting several of the changes from the prior administrations that offered better protections for the people. Governmental corruption was on the decline for several years but now it has ramped up to insanely high levels. In order to get anything done for basic government services you need to bribe somebody. This is a stark contrast from 5 years ago.
The recent laws that they've passed that basically codify Sharia law is harmful to women. The guiding principles of Indonesia are supposed to be one about acceptance of different cultures because there is a vast cultural difference across all of the islands that they have the actual recent implementations show that the Muslim majority is basically bullying everyone else.
So this insight needs to update its data with something current. Because 5 to 7 years ago I would have considered Indonesia as an okay place to be but not now and not for the foreseeable future.
