It’s so strange to me that the biggest IT scandal in tears isn’t getting more attention on HN. It’s almost like this platform of wannabe billionaires is managed by people sympathetic to the cause of billionaires.
There are tons of posts with hundreds of upvotes about it and discussions in the last week. Comments only go so far sometimes before devolving but it's not nothing.
How does something like this get enforced?
Supposedly, President Andrew Jackson said: "[Supreme Court Justice] John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!"
In theory, the Supreme Court can ask US Marshals to enforce it, at the direction of the Attorney General. That doesn't seem likely.
In the past, it was enforced by respect for the rule of law. That seems even less likely.
