The part about having multiple profiles open at the same time... reminds me of the official multi-container firefox addon which lets you open persistant private window sessions as new tabs in a regular window... among other powerful things. With this new profile method it seems each new profile spawns another firefox instance in memory which is kinda bad in my opinion.
