Some have reportedly been offered $300 million, with more than $100 million in total compensation for the first year.

Think about it this way: This is a lot cheaper than buying Open AI. If you hire the top 10 researchers from Open AI that's basically the same as buying Open AI except it's a lot cheaper.

So basically Zuck is acquiring Open AI for $3 Billion. So cheap!
