This is the console font for OpenBSD (on x86-64, at least).
I'm not sure I like it. A lot of the character shapes (like the C and S) feel too rectangular at large sizes. At smaller sizes, some of the alternate character shapes like the Y, and the rounded corners on characters like F and L, harm readability.
Did the ASCII art in the README get mangled?
Using the font itself and setting line spacing to 1 instead of whatever Github uses makes it slightly easier to understand.
No, it's just an odd style of lettering inspired by graffiti throw-ups. I think this style is popular in the warez community.

Thanks - really had no clue. Turns out reading warez-style ascii art is not my forte!
