Karp is an amoral arms dealer masquerading as a philosopher who has convinced himself the world is best treated as a resource.
Thiel is a man-child with a poor childhood seeking to make the world pay for it.
Musk is the idiot who stumbled on a bag of cash and brought the weed, thinking that if he just buys enough things and claims he invented them, the world will admire him (and share his weed).
They're all quite similar in their self-delusions. And they're all very much like classic comic book villains--but villians who think they're the heroes.

For context, he's talking about how Germany should crack down on immigration and doing so from a Nazi sympathetic position. Which seems odd, given that he claims they would have turned him into a lampshade.
