While no one can predict the future, I don't think the success of Fuschia is a given. The transition might open Google up to the usual potential missteps and allow a new competitor(s) to enter the space (hopefully).

Can you give examples of where this has been tried before. Also, this sounds like how we were colonized the first time. Giving enclaves to the French and the British that became staging posts for full colonization

Many people support apple in questioning the business model of Facebook on cross app/site tracking. I think she this is my opinion that apple should not be allowed to put themselves without recourse between businesses and the customers. The customer should always have a choice.

Don't know much about nativescript, but picked up flutter 3 weeks back and am almost finished writing my first flutter app just coding during my free time. Feels great coding in it and seems well thought out. Just my 2 cents

Here in Burkina faso, I use between 5 and 12kwh per day with air con some months taking it close to 15kwh. If the price keeps coming down and with some solar installation, one can leave the grid in a couple of years time

It will eventually happen. In my opinion, in the medium term, from China pressure and them outcompeting Europe in Africa. Chinese are having more boots on the ground all across Africa compared to 20 years ago and one of their main focus is resource extraction. I don't think Europe will be able to dictate to the Chinese in 5 - 10 years in how to conduct their business there. Not that they can do that now either. One of the things to watch your for is the loss of control of west and central african currencies by the French
