All abolishing the monarchy would do is enable people with more wealth and status than me, many of which who I can expect to not only hate people like me far more than the current monarch, but to have self and group interests that are directly contradictory to my own wellbeing, along with ideological motivations that, if carried out, would be extremely harmful to me.
At this point people who think the monarchy should be abolished get filed under "malicious actor who wishes to put themselves, or their ideological co travellers, as my master instead, or wishes to use the de facto power vacuum to enrich themselves at everyone else's expense", i.e. they put themselves into the "I would probably be better off if this person were to be dead" category.
Not really, it can be multi factor, with a set of minimum values in several metrics being required before parental wealth becomes the dominant factor.
To be glib, some people leave millions to their cats but I don't see any entrepreneur kittens.....
That is, the baseline genetic, cultural, and environmental potential for entrepreneurship probably needs to be in place before familial wealth becomes so important.
Given that Saudi Arabia has entirely different ethnic groups, with an extremely different culture, and a very different climate and business environment, I am not surprised at all that the principle factor in north American derived populations entrepreneurship isn't that in the Saudi Arabian population.
In 5 years you might not be able to tell who supported totalitarian lockdowns, forcing healthy people to sacrifice their physical and mental health, their jobs, etc in order to keep the wealthy retired and the weak from having to experience hardship.
You won't know who you can't trust to not be a fascist who would gladly see your life ruined for going outside alone, because it's "against the lockdown rules".
That is, you won't be able to tell who is someone like you.
Get it?
Your own words are taking what's left of trust, pissing all over it, covering it in petrol, and setting it on fire, then saying "shame that those other guys ruined everything".
