2025 was a difficult year for me. I am trans, and transitioning at a late age (post-50s). I am confronting a lot of my own self-hatred in the process. It is also a discouraging thing to be trans in this current national (sometimes global) climate. I also had a cardiac episode. There were definite achievements, but it was unabashedly a mix.
