Well, at least we can all understand the "war on terror". It was really about securing US dominance via a secret system of courts, government agencies and secret deals between US corporations.
All this due to the ending of the cold war.
Now, with the Arab Spring, the US has sought to twist events into a new war. Syria being just the beginning...
Yeah, I get the logic: 'terrorism' is knowing what the government is doing. Perhaps there's another logic: a government which hides in the shadows terrorizes everyone.
Cook is still trying to make a "faster horse" (as was his role during the Jobs era), but with Microsoft on the ropes and Google embroiled in NSA spying (undermining Glass), it's going to be a while yet before any of this matters.
