There should be another ruling. 3 letter agencies should also need a warrant to track cell phones too.
Basically, this ruling means nothing in the grand scheme of things. We are being tracked without our permission & the police can probably get as much info from the US government agencies by just asking for it.
Also, the enforcement of such regulation is usually done with handcuffs, a weapon and imprisonment. Those responsible for the enforcement are untouchable.
This appears to be a common theme and it growing, especially in the USA.
The real problem is that in America we should have access to free public education, but we don't. Instead we have a for profit system that ruins the middle and lower class.
What I mean by free is that the funding can be diverted into our education system from other sources, like the military budget, but alas it seems that somebody or something doesn't want an education populace, but a debt-slave one.
This is very sad and unfortunate. The police need to be held accountable in all situations like this. The police should have scouted the area before & make an assessment. I hope they find the person responsible for calling the police.
1. The money is flowing up and out to the shareholders
2. The profits are being held offshore - probably would cause an issue if that money was sent back into retaining & hiring regular US citizens
2. The jobs have been sent overseas and the trend continues and will not stop ever
3. Many companies, especially in the financial services (too big to fail), are only hiring H1-B positions and/or filling positions with consultants from body shops. They don't bother with looking at US Citizens. This is info is based on my own personal experience
This is a very serious issue & the ACLU should be fighting this and preventing it from happening. Instead they are offering suggestions on a better way for the government to police what you read.
We (US/America) are living in a police state. Our federal government is working beyond the established limits of our Constitution. None of our elected officials care. It's time for a change. Peaceful, but a change nonetheless. America needs help.
How toxic is this to our health & environment. I recall, early 1980's, living in NY, Queens Village (208th street), they tore up & paved my street with this nasty, hot, sticky smelling oil sheet. The smell was horrible & lasted days. But it was fun riding my bike on a newly paved road.. It was especially fun watching the guy in the green elf rollers-skates, skating down my street, performing. Ahh..
This is a crime against humanity. The problem here is that we have a for profit company/hospital that is in charge of the well being of a human. This doesn't work & we need to stop this. No for profit company should be in charge of health care. It doesn't work, because profits are more important than helping people get better.
The whole purpose of modifying crops, plants and animals is to ensure that the company has a patent, ownership, unlimited rights to sell and charge whatever price they desire. They want to replace all types of natural (non modified) products with genetically modified versions.
He needs step down, off of a prison bus into a prison.
So should the upper management and all of the people that committed this fraud, got away with it and are still employed by Wells Fargo.
I got the impression that the "founders" are Chinese and were only hiring H1B's because 1-They too are Chinese, 2: Cheaper than local. 3: easy to control with the H1B hanging over their heads.
What we will see in the USA, in the next few years, is that states & the cities within them will begin to sell off their infrastructure to private companies, both local and international. We're going to see more tolls on roads that never had them. More parking meters on roads that never required them.
Ahh Smalltalk.
My 2nd Object Oriented Language & the Father/Mother of Objective-C, which was my 1st OOL on NeXTStep.
ParcPlace VisualWorks - What a very nice system. I loved it at the time. It did have some crashing issue on windows NT and then Windows 2000. I've played with Squeak and Pharo. They are nice.
Smalltalk could have been Java. Only if it didn't cost so much money back then, mid to Late 90's and if it wasn't "closed" by the companies that own it (like IBM's VisualAge.)
Learn Smalltalk. It's an excellent language (IDE / debugger included!)
Peace
Sun MicroSystems was smart. Throwing Java out there there for "free." Now all these years later, it's practically in every major Financial institution's production environment.
Because the rich and powerful have a different set of rules that only apply to them.
We Americans live in a very corrupt system, where the people/corporations in charge have absolute power over all. It's spread out over multiple organizations
We live in a time where the corruption is being exposed, but nobody is doing a damn thing about it. Maybe we are all too afraid of getting jailed, beaten, losing our jobs or killed by "law" enforcers.
Regardless - We must wake up and shine a light on the corruption. Voting will not work, it never has and it never will as long as the corrupt persons are managing the entire system.
You cannot go against this system with violence, they are ready for it & they will use it against you or a form of it (terror, fear).
Only though peace can we achieve change. If you desire change and are not afraid of losing what you have, your life, your loved ones then find peace within yourself. Don't participate in the corruption. Look within. Starting being peaceful in your daily life. You cannot ever expect somebody else to espouse peace, it must come from each individual.
Do no harm to your self or to others. Regardless of what others may do to you.
