I live in louisiana, it's actually really nice today compared to most days since we're in that nice 3 days of fall season. I was just giving an example of why AC is always blasting here. Your comment backs up my point that it's HOT in the USA
It's very hot in the US. Today at 2pm the temperature where I live will be around 29 degrees celcius. I googled ukraine's weather right now and it's 14C over there.
Helping others is great and I think most people enjoy it. I think what most people don't like is when it impacts their own work. I've definitely had this issue in my own jobs.
So i'm using the system now and whenever i try to use it after stopping for a few minutes, the entire ui is unresponsive. It doesn't appear to have suspended the application. It looks like it happens for around 10 seconds before it finally decides to let me use it.
This is a really cool app! I downloaded it and added my most used apps which allowed me to close some pinned chrome tabs! It's just like franz, but for everything. It does feel a bit sluggish though but I do understand that's mostly a limitation of electron.
I planned to buy this laptop some time this year. Has lenovo stopped supporting linux as well as they used to? I've owned two lenovo laptops and loved them and planned to buy another. I'm also looking at dell laptops since their linux support is reportedly excellent.
I am in no way affiliated with this project, but my assumption is that since this uses workers(separate servers) to process the background jobs - they could be on completely separate machines. If you use redis for job storage, they can all communicate without having to talk back to the master server.
I've used https://www.metalsmith.io to make a few static sites for local events and small local businesses. It's really great for that type of thing but I am also a developer. I don't see static site generators gaining mass appeal unless they can be configured and published from a gui.
