To be sorta on topic, I lived in many countries and I had to get used to people mangling my name in the most creative ways. As long as there is some form of ID or customer reference, I don't care.
I've interviewed at Google, and their phone screening questions are exactly that, some basic coding exercise. E.g. how would you serialize a binary tree, or find the largest substring in lexicographical order.
Related-ish: someone linked to this fantastic read [1] today in some HN thread, and after going through it in awe, I come across the guy's Wikipedia page [2]. Yikes!
Some sort of support for people working on building "lifestyle businesses" as side projects would be fantastic. Not all of us have megalomaniac dreams of running the next AirBnb. Question: would YC Fellowship be a good fit for that?
