facebook, inc. is not just an amiercan issue. For years they have been nefariously bribing other countries to promote their website.
Take for example internet.org internet takeover attempt in India, or a better example, in Brazil facebook, inc. bribes local telcom providers to provide whatsapp access for free ( users are not charged data usage )
their agenda is clear. abuse and lie through their teeth, making as much money and power as possible.
In all my experience using wikipedia it has been successful at providing facts and accurate references.
I don't mean to attack the speaker here, but that former cofounder of wikipedia you just cited... isn't he an extremist neo-conservative? Why did he leave wikipedia in the first place? What are his proposed solutions?
Whether you agree with science is up to you, and you can voice your opinion on it because in US we have the bill of rights ( thank you, founding fathers... )
But voicing an opinion and labeling it science, without using the scientific method, that's ignorance.
As far as I'm aware, the biggest innovation out of China in the past 300 years has been the face-kini.
Seriously though, has this country produced any new invention? I would expect a country with 1.5 billion would come up with something novel. I can think of nothing unique, only modification of existing inventions.
