Politicians are more often mirrors of society than agents of change. Demand change from them, they aren't reading Hacker News. If they refuse change, campaign against them.
Although, at this point it's mostly just spam, porn, and political bots at really really low quality. Imagine the day when worthwhile content with journalistic, artistic, or intellectual value is posted by machines. There are already some great bots pumping out tweets with color palette, non-sensical invention patent ideas, and historical events.
I suppose this beats breaking out time delta, but I think it'll be hard for me to see an actual use in my projects that I couldn't accomplish with maybe just a couple extra lines
