I did expect to be banned, but if the hacker news crowd fails to find the underlying reasons for negative change, then it isn't very intellectually curious. You can't just not ask yourself as a 12 year old why Einstein happened to be Jewish, and continue to ignore the role of intelligence for the rest of your life.

The initial population of slaves imported in to the US have now a hundred folded. That's how well blacks have done in America. In Jamaica? There's 3 times as many blacks in Jamaica as were imported as slaves. x3 growth vs x100 growth? Who did it better?

It's too bad the government doesn't collect taxes paid by race, isn't it? Because every year US blacks cost the American government 400 billion dollars, so if you're wondering how badly blacks are being taken care of, well they're 'only' being given a net 400 billion a year. And that's only one minority. Why don't you make a youtube video where you show that to scale, in US cash.

I can do this for days. Are you ready for a complete rewrite of your nervous system? Fool.

Alright, I'll give the child a sample of what real information and truth looks like:

In 1870: 20.1% of US blacks could read and write 80% of US whites 15% of people in russia

In Robert Evans Jr paper “The Economics of American Negro Slavery", he calculated that blacks got 80-90% of what they produced, after expenses, on average.

While blacks are today the same height if not slightly shorter than whites, during the slavery era they were taller than all whites except for Swedes and English aristocrats.

Throw your "history" books away, child.

By 1880 and until 1940: 70% of black families had both parents co-residing. In 2011 37% of blacks lived in two-parent households, while 75% of whites did. That's a regression from slavery years, genius.

Your homework is to find work by recent geniuses contemplating how the US would have developed differently had slavery never come to America. I also encourage to entirely drop this "exploitation of minorities" nonsense. It is not a factor in explaining the success of rich people, nor is it a factor in explaining country differences. Grow up.

Lol. My entire world view is formed by recent studies and other work done by outlier geniuses. I don't listen to mellow versions of history, or to mass media talking points. Not a single bit of what I'm posting has any amount of BS to it. Your world view and character is utterly corrupt and your views entirely based on wishful thinking. It is not based on truths. It does not sound nice to you that we treated slaves well, or that whites did not benefit from slavery, and so those facts become untrue. Your worldview is a children's tale for the diverse classroom. What about information that does not fit into the fairy tale? Oh it's just BS from slavery apologists.

If measuring something like the visual reaction time of people makes sense, then so too does measuring IQ. Nobody is claiming that the Inuits ability to see far away objects in intense glistening brightness of their snowy lands doesn't constitute real intelligence just because it isn't measured on IQ tests.

Partly because they are smarter. The flynn effect is actually only on the non-g-loaded parts of tests. In reality we're getting dumber and can't sustain the sophistication of past music.

I was under the impression that Jews commonly don't think of themselves as being white whereas the rest of the 'white' groups did. Maybe I'm wrong? Jewishness is a more closely knit identity which Jews are lucky enough to have, whereas even whiteness is an ever expanding identity leaving many white people with nothing but 'American'.

Again, isn't the consensus that the percentage of white students in elite colleges would go up from something like 66% to 75% if only raw ability were considered? In other words you're getting shafted for being white, in a mostly white country.

I'm not the OP but you've lost me as well. What part of what you're saying is supported by data? Any data?

What gave rise to the USA were productive people creating a country for themselves and preventing other people from immigrating there. Immigration was mostly limited to other anglos.

One of the most remarkable things happened in Africa, I forget exactly where, where an unbelievably high number of 160IQ+, 170IQ+ school children were found whose parents had immigrated from Britain.

What you had in the USA were a high concentration of these outlier geniuses and other very productive people that made a new nation for themselves.

Is this not a ridiculous statement? The history of the "white man" is filled with producing outlier geniuses that are costly to those around them but benefit the group. I'm fairly certain that the consensus among those that have looked into slavery in the USA is that it was nothing but detrimental, slowing down progress. The slaves were well fed and made to work little. Children have been made to replicate the daily work of a slave in the USA and have done it with no issue.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to you to learn that the very people that ended slavery are the same people that treated their slaves well.

The slaves that freed themselves before slavery ended integrated surprisingly well, much better than the rest that gained their freedom later. Maybe an IQ difference between those capable of setting themselves free and those not.

I don't know anything about the pizzagate conspiracy theory other than having seen the threads about it when it initially blew up. What people were sharing were links to instagram accounts from seemingly well-off people which included a picture of a young girl looking up at the camera, smiling, with her hands taped to the table. The comments? A few friends/associates writing rather cryptic/weird things.

Don't assume people are idiotic enough to start a conspiracy theory from nothing when they can instead build it from something rather tangible such as the instagram accounts of creepy, rich perverts.
