Bill Gates has lost his 'appettite for destruction'. Even on exile, Steve Jobs kept building blasting technological disruptions (ie. Pixar). Bill Gates has his focus on philantropy, he's retired and won't be the captain hungry Microsoft needs.
it's more for the technical people to not waste time in re-doing what they know how to do to make prototypes.. I don't think a non-technical will be a regular user since they don't understand the architecture and what to do next
great question... I've never wondered about it. It's a matter of limited resources. If you spend 100% of your time procrastinating in reading/commenting in hacker news then you won't have time left for building startups. However, I participating in HN can inspire you in a great way
It's a great idea.. I usually am a little confused about my career.. Sometimes I ask for advice to people I acknowledge as experts.. but it's frequently difficult to contact them
